Message from DDWhite's founder:
Greetings! I hope this message finds you warm and happy and healthy. We at DDWhite are so excited to finally have the chance to release music for the public. We couldn't be more proud of our Digital 45 Blame You / Even a Girl . I wrote these songs in the same week early July 2013. Developing as a songwriter and artist takes a lot of time. There is no substitute for consistent hard work. I am so grateful to have found a group of world-class musicians who believe in this project and have given their time and dedication to developing a sound, style, and process that is all our own. Please know that any contribution to this project will go to creating more music and media. It is a difficult financial climate for music artists nowadays but we continue to create because we believe that music is fundamentally important to society and something that should not be taken for granted.

I would like to say thank you first and foremost to my band: Collin Stanley on guitar and our booking manager (who's stuck by me from day one and without whom this project would not exist), our extremely dedicated music director and bass player extraordinaire Chris Agar, our gentle (but hard-hitting) drummer Zach Simao and our newest addition on guitar Tim Basom. Thank you to everyone who contributed to recording these tunes Jacob Berg who did an incredible job on drums in the studio and brought great rhythm to this project, Kelly Brown who contributed background vocals on the record and brought beautiful harmony to the table, John Horne (Electric Lady Studios) who Collin and I pretty much stalked until he agreed to help advise us recording these tracks and for being an amazing in-studio ally, Oliver Straus- owner and head engineer at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, NY who does much more than an engineer-- He turned our good tracks into great tracks and we couldn't be more grateful for his contributions. The amazing Jason Agel who mixed and mastered the tunes (and Dimitri Ehrlich for his recommendation). Thank you to my mom Lucy for always supporting my dreams, to my father Rick who planted in me a love of music and a passion for performance at an early age, my wonderful sisters Wendy and Natalie, and my fiancee Ian for his constant loving support.

We've come so far this year. Please keep in touch and thank you for your support. So much focus and work goes into creating and this is just the beginning! Thank you for listening and hope you enjoy our first Digital 45 Blame You / Even a Girl .

Take Care,
